INSIDE EUROPE: The new Micro-Europa guide for lecturers
01-01-2012
Micro-Europa publishes its new guide for lecturers, which aims at helping them to engage students with Europe and local level European journalism.
The members of Micro-Europa, on the basis of their respective and common experience, have collectively elaborated the challenges, goals and content of the guide.
The three main parts to the guide concern:
- The pedagogy: How to make the EU understandable to citizens?
- Concrete Europe: How to link local issues and people with the EU challenges?
- The Debates: How to highlight different views and opinions about EU political decisions and legislative projects? How to enhance students’ awareness of the European public sphere through critical thinking and deep analysis?
The fourth part of the guide is dedicated to practical exercises and projects that can be used in class, and introduces useful links.
Please find the guide in five languages (EN, FR, DE, NL, RO) in the ‘tools’ offered by Micro-Europa.eu.
